What the backup includes
Creative tools → Backup → Back up project creates a .paaifai file with the current draft, saved signs, scenes, schedule rules, brand kits, photos and drawing strokes. Referenced assets must still exist in the source browser. Select missing artwork again before backing up.
The file is limited to 64 MB. Songs are excluded and must be selected again on the destination. Keep backups in storage you manage. Browser data can disappear after clearing site data, switching profiles or using a private browsing session.
Inspect before importing
Open the project file on the destination device. The app checks format, size, photo data and drawing records before showing a summary. Confirm the import when ready: the destination’s saved-sign library and scenes will be replaced, so back up that project first.
Imported assets receive new IDs to avoid overwriting existing files. The image set is inserted together. An insufficient-storage error does not claim a partially saved project is complete. Editable stroke documents can be reopened, but undo history from a previous session is not transferred.
Choose the right export for the recipient
PNG is finished still artwork. Video is a local silent recording using a browser-supported codec. A project file is for editing. A normal link or QR code excludes local photo and drawing files.
Backups may contain private content. Send them only to intended recipients using your own transfer method. Paai Fai does not provide a project-upload store or keep a server backup when you download a file.
